An Anatomically Correct Mural by Christoper Jobsen

Here’s a fun piece by Athens-based street artist Achilles that utilizes a series of three wall murals to produce a composite anatomical rendering of a woman’s face. The artist often utilizes perspective in unusual ways, more examples of which you can find on Facebook.

The Trailer Park Kings -- Longtime ace blues drummer David Hudson is Back in the Saddle with his latest project – “the Trailer Park Kings” – a band with enough Creedence to bring Sweet Emotion to the classic blues rock tunes that we all have grown up with.  Band members-- John Comstock, Lauralee Smith, Tanya Hodel, Bart Hyde, Steve Thomas and David Hudson Come Together to play the most rocking blues music – Rolling out a great night of entertaining and danceable classic blues rock music… this band has a Whole Lotta experience and has been culling the records bins all Crosstown to Top off their song list…. ….No Matter What you do, don’t fail to Ride On down to the 99 and let the Trailer Park Kings give you every inch of their love.

Ben Rice has been leaving huge impressions on audiences around the Northwest and winning awards for his vocals and guitar playing for the last seven years. In 2014 at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis Tennessee he left the audience speechless with a raw emotional delivery of his version of “Key To The Highway.” His second consecutive trip to the International Blues Challenge finals in 2015, with Lucy Hammond. He delivered an elegant performance that highlighted his voice, writing, and guitar playing. After that performance he was given the St. Blues Guitarist award for best guitarist in the solo/duo competition at the 2015 International Blues Challenge.
